Zelma Mae Martin

Zelma Mae Martin of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Iva Miller and Nellie Skaggs Miller, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky August 14, 1929.  She died at

4:30 P.M., Sunday, April 8, 2012 in Campbellsville.     Age:  82

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Mt. Carmel Baptist Church.

She was a retired nursing assistant at Taylor Regional Hospital.

She united in marriage to David Thomas Martin October 19, 1945.  

Besides her husband, David Thomas Martin, she is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Donald Holbrook of Chattanooga, Tennessee; one grandson-in-law, Jay Joyce of Lebanon, Ohio; one great-grandson, Tyler Joyce of Lebanon, Ohio, residing in Chattanooga; one sister, Ivagene DeWitt of Campbellsville; one sister-in-law, Lucille Allen of Campbellsville; two nephews: Lee Allen and Raymond Allen of Campbellsville; many cousins and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Annette Hines Joyce March 2, 2007.

Iona L. Parker White, age 73, of Campbellsville, died Monday, April 9, at the Jewish Hospital in Louisville after an illness.
She is survived by two sons and three daughters, Steven Gene White and Barry White of Campbellsville, Debbie Carlton of Nebraska, Candace Wilson of Willisburg and Victoria G. Strader of Campbellsville. Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive along with three brothers and two sisters, Allen and Johnnie Parker of Elkhorn, Ronald Parker of Florida, Burma Wheeler of Campbellsville and Pat Riggs of Chicago.
Funeral services for Iona L. Parker White will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.
The family request visitation from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.
The family request that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the funeral expenses.

Toncie Callahan

Toncie Lee Callahan, age 94, of Campbellsville, died Friday in Corydon, Ind. After a long illness.
She was the Daughter of the late Edmond Callahan and Mahaley Jane Robison Callahan of Taylor County, a member of the Faith Assembly Church. Besides her parents Ms. Callahan was preceded in death by one daughter, Zelphia Lee Reese, four brothers, Estill Callahan, Edward Callahan, Robert Callahan and Omer Callahan, four sisters, Lovenie Hamlin, Bertha Ford, Dotty Wynn and Lottie Ford.
She is survived by two sons Gary Lewis Ford and Eric Wade Ford both of Campbellsville. Two Daughters Shirley Ann James of Corydon,Ind. and Lana Sue Ford of Campbellsville. Twelve Grandchildren, Twenty-Two Great-Grandchildren and Fifteen Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Services for Ms. Callahan were held at 1 P.M. Monday at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Callahan Cemetery.
Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Pall Bearers: Brandon Ford, Cody Ford, Dustin Ford, Ernie Ford, Johnny Pike and Donald Wethington.
