Elsie Louise Foster Milby was born April 22, 1925 in Green County, KY to the late Willie Stanford and Ollie Green Marr Foster.  She departed this life Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Golden Living Center/Green Hill Manor, having attained the age of eighty-five years, eight months and ten days.

      Mrs Milby had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Oak Forrest Cumberland Presbyterian Church.  She was a retired lunch room worker for Green County Schools.  She was a member of the Summersville Homemakers for 54 years.  Besides her parents, she was  preceded in death  December 8, 1996 by  her husband William Creed Milby.  She is also preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.

       She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law:  William Earl and Mae Milby of Greensburg, KY and James Stanford and Susan Milby of Salisbury, North Carolina and one daughter and son-in-law:  Renea and Claudie Hancock of Greensburg, KY.  She is also survived by two brothers-in-law:  Woodrow Lobb of Greensburg, KY and Charlie Elmore of Louisville, KY.  six grandchildren:  Ryan (Lisha) Hancock, Josh (Amber) Hancock, Stacy (Marty) McNear, Brooke (Ben) Benningfield, Whitney Milby and Brittany Milby, one step granddaughter:  Kim Lobb, four great grandchildren:  William Kaden McNear, Easton  Creed Hancock, Ryley Thomas Hancock, and Isabella Ann Benningfield,  several nieces and nephews, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

10 a.m. Central Time Saturday, January 8, 2011

Visitation :  after 2 p.m. Friday, January 7, 2011 and after 7 a.m. Sat.. January 8, 2011.
