Mary Money

Mrs. Mary Dolores Morris Money, of Campbellsville, was born on October 10, 1933, to the late Rollin Morris and Clara Neat Morris in Middletown, Ohio, and departed this life on Tuesday, October 15, 2019, at the age of 86.
Mrs. Money professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church.
She united in marriage to Alton Eugene “Gene” Money on June 23, 1951, who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son and three daughters: Gary E. Money of Campbellsville; Vicki L. Money and her husband, Bill Guffy, of Campbellsville; Carolyn Jo Bertram and her husband, George Barry “Chip” Bertram Jr., of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, and Mary Gina Money of Cherry Hill, New Jersey. She is also survived by five precious grandchildren: Lori McGlocklin of Reading, Pennsylvania; Brooke Money DuBois of Ft. Collins, Colorado; George Ryan Bertram of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; Bethany Money Wooley of Campbellsville; and Tristan Depew of New York, New York. She was also blessed with five great-grandchildren: Kaitlyn and Nolan Bertram of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee; Ava and Stella Wooley of Campbellsville; and Taylor DuBois of Ft. Collins, Colorado. She has three brothers: George Morris and wife, Pat, of Campbellsville, Bobby Morris and wife, Polly, of Campbellsville, and Orbia Morris and wife, Nancy, of Louisville.
She was a passionate homemaker and delighted in taking care of her family. As a devoted wife and mother she loved doting on her “Genie Boy” and children, and her warmhearted nature made her a tender and sweet “Mema” to each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mrs. Mary Dolores Money will be conducted at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Auberry – Gupton & Chandler Funeral Home with entombment to follow at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Dr. Dwayne Norman officiating.
Visitation is requested from 5:00 until 8:00 P.M. Friday at the funeral home.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to Gideon Bibles.

Michael David Mings

Mr. Michael David Mings of Bardstown, formerly of Campbellsville, was born on February 7, 1963 in Hardin County, Kentucky to Bernie Mings and the late Betty Louise White and departed this life on Friday, October 11, 2019. He was 56 years of age.
He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.
Mr. Mings was a contractor and enjoyed managing and building projects of various sizes.
He was a United States Army veteran, having served his country honorably for one tour.
Michael is survived by his spouse: Nancy Riggs of Bardstown; two sons and three daughters: Robert Mings, Scotty Mings and wife Colleen all of Campbellsville, Tasha Mings of Tennessee, Alena Mings and Valorie Mings of Alaska; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild; his father: Bernie Mings of Campbellsville; a stepson: Shawn Riggs of Bardstown; one brother and six sisters: Shelly Perkins of Campbellsville, Kathy Jaglowicz and husband Mike of Lebanon, Darlene Prather of Rineyville, Doug Mings and wife Vickie of Madisonville, Dana Hill and husband Billy of Horse Cave, Myra Mings of Liberty and Christy Sluder and husband Chad of Mount Juliet.

Betty Jean Cornett

Ms. Betty Jean Cornett of Walton, Kentucky, formally of Campbellsville, was born on December 30, 1943 to the late Charlie Mullins and Aria Capps Mullins in Johnson County, Kentucky and departed this life on Sunday, October 13, 2019. She was 75 years of age.
Betty was dedicated to her family and to her career as an elementary school educator. She raised and nurtured two children, James and Lea-Anne, was a loving caregiver to her mother in her elder years, and proud Grammy to her five grandchildren. Her time as a school teacher was spent primarily in Appalachia. It was a great honor of her life to have the opportunity to empower her students with knowledge.
Ms. Cornett is survived by one son and one daughter: James Cornett and wife Debbie of Lexington, Kentucky and Lea-Anne Strickland and husband Morgan of Walton, Kentucky. Five grandchildren: Joshua Cornett and Matthew Cornett of Lexington, and Aria Strickland, Laurel Strickland and Nora Strickland all of Walton, Kentucky. One brother and one sister: George Mullins and wife Margaret of Cincinnati, Ohio and Marietta Mullins of Elizabethtown. One sister-in-law: Judy Mullins of Campbellsville, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Aria Mullins, one daughter Elizabeth Cornett, one brother Donald Mullins and one sister Nancy Moore.

Kara Joyce Freeman

Kara Joyce Freeman, precious baby girl of Phillip and Katherine Freeman of Campbellsville, was born into the arms of angels on October 9, 2019 at the Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. Born at 37 weeks, she weighed 5 lb 10 oz and was 18 inches long. Although Kara Joyce never spent any time with us on Earth, she was very loved and touched many lives.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by one brother: Jason Liam Freeman of Campbellsville; grandparents: Angie Allen Freeman of Campbellsville, Gerry Freeman of Mount Vernon, Kentucky, Lori and Richard Conant of Delaware, Ohio, David Clarke of Columbus, Ohio and David Holcomb of Columbus, Ohio; great-grandparents: Joyce Allen Russell of Campbellsville, Herman Freeman of Cincinnati, Ohio, Edwin and Kitty Stahl of Columbus, Ohio and Thelma Holcomb of Columbus, Ohio.

Eunice Montgomery Wright

OBITUARY
Mrs. Eunice Montgomery Wright of Campbellsville was born on September 11, 1935 in Green County, Kentucky to the late Lester Montgomery and Hallie Akin Montgomery and departed this life on October 8, 2019. She was 84 years of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church. Eunice was employed by Fruit of the Loom as a folder and time work. She was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels.

She united in marriage to Fred M. Wright on April 3, 1957, who survives.

Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter: Connie L. Wright of Campbellsville; Two grandchildren: Mitchell L. Wright of Campbellsville and William D. Wright of Washington State; One sister: Linda M. Lawson of Lebanon Junction; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by two brothers: Eudell Montgomery and Dencil Montgomery.
