George Washington Cox, 93

Mr. George Washington Cox, age 93, of Raikes Hill road, died Monday at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.

He was the son of the late Charlie “Blacksmith” and Ellen Cox.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Cox, two sons, Odell and Larry Cox, two brothers, Beckham and Hubert Cox, three sisters, Nettie Perkins, Flossie Edelen, and Geneva Warner, and one grandson, Benjamin Burton.

Calvin McFall, Age 81

Calvin McFall, age 81, of Duffy Street, Campbellsville died Sunday at the Hardin Memorial Hospital after an illness. 

He was the son of the late Roy McFall Sr. and Mattie Pearl Stearns.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean McFall, two sons, Michael Ray McFall and Mark McFall, one brother Roy McFall Jr., and one sister, Cora Garrett.

He is survived by four sons and daughters in law and one daughter and son in law, Larry and Angie McFall, Donald and Jewell McFall, Randy and Dana McFall all of Campbellsville, Danny and Ellen McFall of Lebanon and Connie and Frank Tate of Bardstown and one daughter in law, Lisa McFall.  Eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.

Funeral services for Mr. Calvin McFall will be held at 11 AM Wednesday at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Brookside Cemetery.

The family request visitation after 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

Garth Roosevelt Dudgeon, Age 76

         Garth Roosevelt Dudgeon age 76, of Highland Drive, Campbellsville, died Friday at Grandview Nursing Home after an illness.

         He was the son of the late Jessie and Bessie Dudgeon.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Dudgeon, daughter, Patricia Diane Dudgeon, and one brother Ray Dudgeon.

         He was a member of the Elkhorn Masonic Lodge, a Kentucky Colonel, he worked as Civil Service Fireman at Dulles International Airport (1963-1966), Andrews Air Base for 8 years, Fort Knox, Ky for 18 years.
