Shelby Druien, 77

Shelby D. Druien, Sr, 77, of Campbellsville died Monday, May 31, 2010 at Grandview Nursing Home after an illness.

He was the son of the late Lee Shipp and Ruby Druien Shipp and was adopted and raised by his maternal grandmother, Ida E. Druien.  He was married to Ora Mae Cox Druien on August 23, 19532 and she preceded him in death of October 24, 2006.  He was a farmer in Taylor County and a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.

        Rita Mae Cash, age 53, of Sherwood Drive, died Friday, May 28, 2010 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.

         She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Sheena and Chad Harris of Campbellsville, three grandchildren Ethan Harris, Angela Harris, and Leah Harris all of Campbellsville, four brothers Mike Hunt, Alan Skaggs both of Campbellsville, Tim Cash of Edmonton, Chris Cash of Glasgow, four sisters, Debbie Murray of Columbia, Gail Cox, Regina Rodgers, Abby Fitch all of Campbellsville and step-father Charles O’Brien of Campbellsville.

         Funeral services will be conducted at 1 PM, Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in Brookside Cemetery.       

         Family request visitation after 10 AM, Tuesday, June 1, 2010, at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

         Family request in lieu of flowers donations be made to the family fund.

James Robert Atkinson, 43

        James Robert Atkinson, 43, of Candace Street, Campbellsville, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.

         He is survived by his children, Jamar LaShaun Atkinson, Chanson Janoah Atkinson, Javontae Rashawn Atkinson, Jametria LaShae Atkinson,all of Campbellsville,  his parents, George and Mary Atkinson of Campbellsville, one brother and sister-in-law, George Anthony and Sandy Atkinson and two sisters, Deborah Ann Atkinson and Lorenda Michelle Allen all of Campbellsville.

         Funeral services will be conducted at 11AM, Wednesday, June 2, 2010  at First Baptist Church with burial to follow in  Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.

         Family request visitation after 5PM, Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home and after 9AM, Wednesday at the church.

Callie May Davis, 87

Callie May Davis, age 87, of Country View Drive, Campbellsville, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at her residence after an illness.

She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Beerch Burton Feese.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Franklin Smith and later by her second husband Bluford Davis on October 2, 2001, one brother George Ed Feese, and two sisters Mattie Quinn and Lettie Johnson.
