Vina Bessie “Granna” Mann, age 81, died Saturday, August 24, 2013 at her residence in Campbellsville, Kentucky.
Bessie worked as a Med Tech for Fair Oaks Nursing Home for many years. Granna was a lady that took much delight in the simple things of life; such as gardening, cooking, canning and her love…..quilting. Her wisdom and skills she so graciously shared will forever live on, she will truly be missed here on earth, but we know the angels are rejoicing of her presence in heaven today.
She was survived by three daughters; Pamela Anthony of Campbellsville, Rose Stapp of Laurel MS and Sharon Bryant of Russell Springs, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren,
two sisters; Tena Lawhorn and Bobbie Jean Sapp and a host of family and friends.
Family chose direct cremation.

James Logan Simpson, age 48 of Campbellsville, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Taylor Regional Hospital.
He was survived by his parents Haskel (Hack) Simpson and Saundra Simpson two sons; William Simpson and James Simpson, one daughter; Kelli Simpson, one uncle Junior Patterson, cousin Kristen Dawn Pike along with many other cousin all of Campbellsville and a host of family and friends.
No Services will be conducted for Mr. James Simpson; Family chose cremation, all arrangements by Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

Edwin Darrell Bright, age 71 of Campbellsville, died Friday, August 9, 2013 in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Edwin Darrell was the son of the late Audrey Christie and Lloyd Buck Bright.
Edwin Darrell Bright was a Decorated Viet Nam Veteran in the United States Army. Ed was retired United States Postal Service “Post Master of Mannsville.” Ed “Colonial” Bright loved fishing and spending time with his friends, he was a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife Shirley Bright, two daughters; Teresa Bright of Campbellsville and Missy and (Keith) Burress of Mt. Washington, one granddaughter; Stephanie Blakeman, two brothers and daughter-in-law; Jim Bright of Campbellsville, Terry and (Katheryn) Bright of Tennessee, one sister and brother-in-law; Judy and (Bob) O’Banion of Florence, one uncle Don Christie and wife Vivian, along with a host of family and friends.
Services for Mr. Edwin Bright were conducted at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full Military Honors by D.V.A. Chapter 70 with the assistance of the Patriot Guard Riders.

Francis Robert “Bob” Dobbs, age 78, of Campbellsville, died Friday, August 2, 2013 at Golden Living Care Facility in Green County.
He is survived by one son; Robert Dobbs (Marie) and one daughter; Susan StAubin and (Ken) both of Michigan, three brothers Paul Dobbs of Michigan, John Dobbs and Ray Dobbs both of Wisconsin, caregivers; James and DeRhonda Calhoun, along with a host of family and friends.
Services for Mr. Bob Dobbs will be conducted 1 PM Monday, August 5, 2013 at Lyon- DeWitt Funeral Home, Visitation after 10AM on Monday.

Mrs. Freda Mace, age 58 of Campbellsville, died Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, KY.
Freda (Powers) Mace was the daughter of the late Gayle (Painter) and Charles Powers and Charles D. Caldwell.
Freda was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and a kind and giving friend to many.
She is survived by her husband Roy Mace Sr. of Campbellsville, five sons and daughter-in laws; Roy Mace III and Donald Powers of Campbellsville, Roy (Lisa) Mace II, Russell Mace and James M(Daphne) Mace all of Indiana, four daughters and son-in-laws; Ida Yeadon (Johnny) of Campbellsville, Stacey Mace, Naline Woodward (Ernest) and Vicky Mace all of Indiana, Twenty-one Grandchildren, two brothers; Charles M Caldwell (Melisa) of Greensburg and Delbert Caldwell (Dollie) of Adair Co., two sisters; Patricia Smothers (Robert) of Campbellsville and Shelia McClister of Adair Co., Special Niece; Latonia Atwood and special friends Janice Roberts and Lois Keck and a host of family and friends.
