          Mr. James “Jimmie” Dotson, age 72 of Taylor County died Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Green County.

          James Dotson was the son of the late John Raymond Dotson and Nancy Ellen Price, he was also preceded in death by his wife Mary Kathryn Marcum Dotson, four brother; Matthew, Monroe, Elba and Paul Dotson and two sisters; Nellie Johnson and Sylvia Price.

          Jimmie enjoyed life on the farm and was a kind and caring brother and uncle.

          He is survived by two sisters and one brother, Estelene Stillwell and Mary Reed both of Campbellsville and Jewell Dotson of Columbia, two step children; Richie Meadows and Teresa Wooldridge both of Russell Springs, twenty-six nieces and nephews and a host of family and friends.         

          Services for Jimmie Dotson were conducted at 1:00 PM Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Zion Separate Baptist Church Cemetery.

          Ms. Bethel E. (Coomes) Blair age 92, formally of Taylor County, died Thursday, June 20, 2013, at her residence in Hodgenville, Kentucky.

          Bethel E. Blair was the daughter of the late Ella Christie and Marvin Harden, she was also preceded in death by her husband’s Herman Lee Coomes and Montie Blair, two daughters; Shirley Keltner and Janet Mullins, one grandson; Neil Smothers, one brother and six sisters.

          Bethel was a member of the First Church of God and retired from Fruit of the Loom, she was a loving and caring mother and grandmother and a friend to many.

          She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws; Phyllis and James Jeffries of Hodgenville and Patricia and Steve Scroggins of Jeffersonville, eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and eight step children; Ted (Jewel) Blair of Elizabethtown, Darrell (Wilma) Blair, Donnie (Marcella) Blair, Roger (Donna) Blair, Carolyn (Walter) Kenser,
Shirlene (Gary) Osborne, Dixie (Haywood) Riner and Lou Ann (Jack) Beard all of Campbellsville along with a host of family and friends.

          Services for Ms. Bethel Blair were conducted at 2 PM Sunday, June 23, 2013 at Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial in the Brookside Cemetery.

Mrs. Vertilee (Skaggs) Price, age 80 formally of Taylor County died Tuesday at Georgetown Manor Care Facility in Louisville, Kentucky.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Willie Leo and Theresa Price of Illinois, two daughters and son-in-laws; Wanda and Jesse Johnson of Louisville and Helen and Gary Shelton of Indiana, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, two brothers and sister-in-laws; James and Joyce Skaggs and Elmer and Jewel Skaggs both of Louisville, along with a host of family and friends.
Services for Mrs. Vertilee Price will be conducted 1:00 PM Friday, June 14, 2013 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Zion Separate Baptist Cemetery.

          Mrs. Barbara Jean Fisher, age 66 of Taylor County died Sunday, June 9, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Green County.

          Barbara was the daughter of the late Delphia Richardson Clark and Ray Clark, she was also preceded in death by one sister Shirley Mills of Lebanon.

          She is survived by her husband Daniel Fisher, one son Charles Ray Shepperson both of Campbellsville, two daughters and son-in-law; Veronica Gunterman and (Michael Adams) and Tammy Jo and Jason Cox all of Campbellsville, three stepsons; Michael and (Tammy) Fisher of Campbellsville, Ricky and Barbara Fisher of Lebanon and Chris Fisher of Loretta, twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild, along with a host of family and friends.

          Funeral Services for Mrs. Barbara Jean Fisher were conducted Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 1:00 PM at the Bible Baptist Church, with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens all arrangements by Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife Janice (Brown) Corbin, one son and daughter-in-law; David K. and Kimberly Corbin, and two grandchildren; Kyle and Mariah Corbin all of Campbellsville, one brother Tommy F. Corbin of Columbia and a host of family and friends.
