Hazel NewtonSapp Mrs. Hazel Sapp, age 86, of Southern Drive, Campbpellsville, died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at the Wellington Parc Nursing Center in Bowling Green after an illness.She was the daughter of the late Andrew Jackson Newton and Mary Edna Edelen of Marion County. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and was a retired upholstery worker. Mrs. Sapp was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Sapp, two brothers and one sister, Ernest and Vonley Melton and Cora Melton.She is survived by three nieces and five nephews, Loenell Melton Shipp of of Lebanon, Mary Opal Newton Smith of Indiana, Arvin and Don Melton of Shelby, N.C., Ronald and Carl Melton both of North Carolina, andLeon Newton of Grafton, Ohio.Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Father Jeffrey Lager officiated.
