Jessie Williams Hash Wood, of Hathaway Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Lee Young and Clyde Jones Young was born January 10, 1918, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Monday, April 22, 2002, in Campbellsville. Age: 84.She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.She was former office deputy for the Taylor County Sheriff Department, Tax Collector for the Campbellsville Independent School System and Taylor County Bookmobile Librarian. She united in marriage to P. T. Williams in 1942, who preceded her in death.She united in marriage to James J. Hash June 9, 1951. He preceded her in death January 16, 1969.She united in marriage to John Merlin Wood Jr. June 28, 1973. He preceded her in death December 2, 1975.She is survived by two sons and one daughter and their spouses: Rev. Thomas and Nancy Williams of Kingsport, Tennessee, Sam and Christie Hash and Rita and Kenneth Moyers of Campbellsville; one step-son, John Merlin Wood III of Soule, South Korea; five grandchildren: David Williams of Rogersville, Tennessee, Dena Porter of Kingsport, Tennessee, Megan Moyers, Joey Moyers and Dylan Hash of Campbellsville; three great grandchildren: Aaron Bowen of Williamstown, Kentucky, Austin Williams and Maggie Williams of Rogersville, Tennessee, one sister, Ruby Carter of Campbellsville, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by three brothers: Walter Young, Dearen Young and Ed Young.FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Thursday, April 25th, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville byRev.
