Tommy Porter of Owl Creek Road, Campbellsville, son of Carl Porter and Edna Lawson Porter, was born June 6, 1941, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:10 A.M., Wednesday, June 12, 2002, in Campbellsville.Age: 61.He was a member of the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.He taught Machine Tool Technology at the Green County Area Technology Center and was active in the VICA program having advised many students in award winning competitions.He was also an avid farmer.He united in marriage to Opal Wise December 5, 1959, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church in Finley.Besides his wife, Opal Porter of Owl Creek Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and their wives: Gary and Tammy Porter, Richard and Amy Porter, and Barry and Michelle Porter of Campbellsville; six grandchildren: Candy Porter, Brandon Porter, Chase Porter, Clay Porter, Matthew Porter, and Emily Porter of Campbellsville; his parents, Carl and Edna Porter of Finley a sister, Jean Porter of Finley and many other relatives and friends.FUNERAL SERVICES: 10:00 A.M., Friday, June14th, at Our Lady of the Hills Catholic Church in Finley by Rev.
