Mabelle Bright
Mabelle Clare Bright of Deerfield Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Rev. Leslie Thomas Wright and Eva Mae Brock Wright, was born August 3, 1921, in Nelson County, Kentucky. She died at 6:37 A.M., Wednesday, December 4, 2002, in Lexington.Age: 81She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for over fifty years and a choir member.She retired from Taylor County RECC after some 34 years of service.She united in marriage to Douglas Bright October 23, 1944. He preceded her in death October 25, 1997.She is survived by one son and his wife, Lloyd D. and Cindy Bright of Evansville, Indiana and one daughter and her husband, Elaine (Bobbi) and J.R. (Marion) Horn of Lexington; four grandchildren: Stuart Horn of Inez, Sonya Taylor and her husband, Andrew of Boulder, Colorado, and Starr Douglas Horn and Allen Douglas Bright of Lexington; two step-granddaughters: Amanda Burress and Heather Burress of Evansville, Indiana; one sister, Helen Kirtley of Johnson City, Tennessee; a special friend, Roy D.
