Cora Whitley of Glasgow, formerly of Campbellsville, daughter of the late Samuel Frank Murphy and Mildred Wethington Murphy, was born in Casey County, Kentucky, June 9, 1911. She died at 6:55 P.M., Friday, January 3, 2003, in Glasgow. Age: 91She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church.She united in marriage to Rev. Wilbur C. Whitley December 16, 1934. He preceded her in death February 24, 1985.She is survived by one daughter and one son and their spouses: Joyce and Billy Hendrick of Louisville and Rodger and Shirley Whitley of Glasgow; five grandchildren: Vickie Scholl of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Timmy Hendrick of Louisville, Scotty Hendrick of Atlanta, Connie Reader of Glasgow, and Markus Whitley of Nashville; seven great-grandchildren: Jeremy Scholl and Elizabeth Scholl of Indiana, Jacob Nunn, Nicholas Reader, and Christopher Reader of Glasgow, and Brooke Hendrick and Bryan Hendrick of Louisville; two sisters: Lucille Whited and Beulah Woodrum of Indiana; several other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Owen Virgil Murphy, Joseph Roy Murphy, Coy Murphy, Murl Murphy, Mary A.
