Bessie Colvin
Bessie Colvin of Henry Lee Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Robert McFarland and Vioma Hedgespeth McFarland was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, July 30, 1920. She died at 3:25 P.M., Friday, February 21, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 82She had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Henry Lee Colvin Sr. December 23, 1939. He preceded her in death July 13, 2000. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: Henry Lee Colvin Jr. and his wife, Janet of Campbellsville; two grandsons: George Henry Colvin and Johnnie Lee Colvin of Campbellsville; two step-grandchildren: Trisha Sanders of Clermont, Florida and Kerri Hayden of Campbellsville; six great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; two nephews and one niece: J. W. McFarland of Campbellsville and Dalton McFarland and Oneida Carnes of Louisville; and many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Robert T.
