Milburn Harris of Dixie Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late Hatton Harris and Annie Lee Philpott Harris, was born August 27, 1918, in Nelson County, Kentucky. He died at 12:55 A.M., Wednesday morning, March 12, 2003, in Lexington. Age: 84He had professed faith in Christ and was of Baptist faith.He was a veteran of World War II having served his country in the United States Army.He was a retired employee of Chappell Dairy.He united in marriage to Ermin Whitlock, December 27, 1937.Besides his wife, Ermin Harris of Dixie Avenue, Campbellsville, he is survived by seven sons and one daughter: Robert Harris, Seibert Harris, Raymond Harris, Melvin Harris, Hank Harris, Tommy Harris of Campbellsville, George Ray Harris of Clinton, Illinois, and Annette Sharp of Bowling Green, Kentucky; twenty-three grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters: James Stanley Harris of Campbellsville, Mae Stewart of Bardstown, Kentucky, Lizzie Mattingley of Leroy, Illinois, and Lula Mattingley of Jacksonville, Illinois; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by a son Marvin Harris.FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 14th, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
