Harold G. Spurling of Spurlington Road, Campbellsville, son of William Goebel Spurling Sr. and Mary Frances Tarter Spurling was born July 5, 1922, in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 4:22 A.M., Tuesday, March 25, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 80He was a veteran of World War II and the Korean War having served his country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force.He had professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Spurlington United Methodist Church.He united in marriage to Eva Daffron, May 16, 1953.Besides his wife, Eva Spurling of Spurlington Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by three sons and their spouses: Robert K. and Julie M. Spurling of Dayton, Ohio, H. Dean and Joyce Spurling of Miamisburg, Ohio, and Daniel L. and Sandra Spurling of Campbellsville; eight grandchildren: Heather Spurling, Ashley Spurling, Adam Spurling and Robbie Spurling of Dayton, Ohio, Emily Spurling and Nataley Spurling of Miamisburg, Ohio, Shelly Nelson and Megan Spurling of Campbellsville; three brothers and three sisters: Charles Spurling, Edwin Spurling, Jimmie Spurling, Hazel Sullivan, Mattie Jean Smothers and Margaret Chappell all of Campbellsville; his mother-in-law: Pauline Daffron of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother: Geneva May Spurling, Opal Maxine Spurling, and William Goebel Spurling Jr.; his father-in-law: Claude Daffron.FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 27th at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
