Christine Humphress
Christine Humphress of Valley View Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Carl Hoosier and Nettie Davis Hoosier was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, November 18, 1926. She died at 10:15 A.M., Tuesday, July 29, 2003, in Elizabethtown. Age: 76 She professed faith in Christ and attended the Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom where she worked for thirty-seven years.She united in marriage to Joe Humphress March 14, 1944. Besides her husband, Joe Humphress of Valley View Drive, Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons and one daughter and their spouses: Benny and Phyllis Humphress, Mike and Linda Humphress of Campbellsville, and Sue and Gordon Perkins of Trafalgar, Indiana; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Winfrey Hoosier of Brooks, Kentucky, Delores Cawthorn of Summitville, Indiana, and Shirley Sullivan of Greensburg, Kentucky; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers: Naomi Sidebottom, Evelyn Greer, Kenneth Hoosier, Lester Hoosier, Roger Hoosier and Don Hoosier.
