Jim Wilson of Arbor Lane, Campbellsville, son of the late Jack Wilson and Bernice Buckie Wilson Buchanan was born March 19, 1925 in St. Louis, Missouri. He died at 8:50 A.M., Monday, September 29, 2003 in Campbellsville. Age: 78 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orinton, Missouri. He retired from the United States Navy after twenty-one years of active duty, having served in World War II, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam. He served as Taylor County Deputy Jailer for fourteen years and he was a member of the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels. He united in marriage to Elma Perkins January 20, 1962. Besides his wife, Elma Wilson of Arbor Lane, Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother, John Watson Buchanan of Wichita, Kansas; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
