Donald Ball, Sr. of Stoner Creek Road, Elkhorn, son of the late John Ball and Daisey Symmonds Ball was born January 31, 1926, in Dixon, Illinois.He died at 7:15 P.M., Sunday, November 2, 2003 in Campbellsville.Age: 77 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith.He united in marriage to Dorothy Arnold September 3, 1947. She preceded him in death October 28, 1984. He is survived by one son and one daughter: Donald Ball, Jr. of Elkhorn, Kentucky and Barbra Slack of Rock Hill, South Carolina; five grandchildren: Don Ball III, Rebekah Meeks, Jason Meeks, Julie Ball and Jennifer Pyles; two great-grandchildren: Dustin Meeks and Christopher Irvins; two brothers: William Ball of Joliet, Illinois and Jack Ball of Frankfort, Illinois; many other relatives and friends.
