Ray Knifley
Ray Knifley of Gowdy Street, Campbellsville, son of the late W. R. Knifley and Lena Williams Knifley was born in Adair County, Kentucky, December 31, 1910. He died at 9:20 P.M. Monday, November 24, 2003 in Campbellsville. Age: 92 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Christian Church. He united in marriage to Edna Campbell in 1932. She preceded him in death November 20, 1997. He is survived by one daughter and one son: Julia L. Knifley of Campbellsville and W. R. Knifley of Smiths Grove, Kentucky; two grandchildren: Greg Knifley and wife Joy of Hamilton, Ohio, Ella Christensen and husband Kevin of Arapahoe, Nebraska; four great-grandchildren: Hunter Knifley of Hamilton, Ohio, Haley Christensen, Lily Christensen and Chloe Christensen all of Arapahoe, Nebraska; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one brother, Buford Knifley.
