Ruby Philpott
Ruby Philpott of Osage Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late E. T. Richerson and Laura Malone Richerson, was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, June 12, 1918. She died at 12:25 P.M., Sunday, December 14, 2003, in Louisville. Age: 85 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Clyde Philpott March 2, 1940. He preceded her in death November 6, 1984. She is survived by one son and his wife, James E. and Brenda Philpott of Campbellsville and one daughter and her husband, Barbara and J. Chandler Morris of Louisville; two grandchildren: Barry Morris and his wife, Laura of Louisville and Patrick Philpott of Lexington; two great-granddaughters: Faith Ann Morris and Caleigh Ann Morris of Louisville; one sister, Iva Hardesty of Louisville; several other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers: Alma Short, Preston
