Billy Joe Salsman
Billy Joe Salsman of Autumn Drive, Campbellsville son of the late Henry J. Salsman and Agnes Matherly Salsman was born in Green County, Kentucky, October 28, 1936. He died at 10:35 A.M. Thursday, December 18, 2003, in Louisville. Age: 67As a young boy, Billy publicly professed faith in Jesus Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He retired as Park Manager for Green River Reservoir U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in 2001. He united in marriage to Marilyn Wilcox December 31, 1962. Besides his wife Marilyn Salsman of Autumn Drive, Campbellsville he is survived by three sons and their spouses: Steven Joseph Salsman and wife Brenda of Camp Zama, Japan, David Christopher Salsman and wife Jennifer of Wilmore, Kentucky, and John Mark Salsman and wife Stephanie of Lexington; six grandchildren: Joshua Steven Salsman and Rachel Grace Salsman of Japan, Zachary David Salsman, Jacob Christopher Salsman, Timothy Davis Salsman and Michael Dawson Salsman of Wilmore, Kentucky; two brothers: Thomas Eugene Salsman and wife Betty of Richmond and Melvin R. Salsman and wife Barbara of Louisville; his mother-in-law, Ruby Close Wilcox of Hodgenville; a sister-in-law, Frances R. Salsman; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
