Gertrude Coffey
Gertrude Coffey of Warren Place, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Charlie Wright and Effie Rakes Wright was born in Marion County, Kentucky, August 21, 1907. She died at 11:55 A.M. Thursday, December 18, 2003, in Campbellsville. Age: 96 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Woodlawn Christian Church. She united in marriage to Paul Coffey March 19, 1928. He preceded her in death November 30, 1986. She is survived by one daughter and her husband, Jean and Woodruff L. Newton of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Brian K. Newton September 3, 1999; two sisters and four brothers. FUNERAL SERVICES: 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 20, 2003 at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Larry Wilson.
