Clara Rice
Clara Rice of Wise Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Joseph Irvin Wagoner and Mattie Julia Parrott Wagoner was born March 12, 1917, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 11:50 P.M., Thursday, March 4, 2004, in Elizabethtown. Age: 86 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She united in marriage to Chester A. Rice, December 24, 1942. He preceded her in death November 10, 1977. She is survived by one son, Joe Rice of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Joseph Rice, Thomas Rice and Chris Rice of Greensburg; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son, Albert Lee Rice, March 29, 1976; five sisters and two brothers: Virgie Williamson, Alice Minor, Mary Sapp, Ethel Chandler, Mattie Wise, Walter Wagoner and Robert Wagoner.
