GENE SMOTHERS
Gene Smothers of Crescent Hill Manor, Campbellsville, son of the late George Smothers and Myrtle Beldon Smothers was born March 23, 1936, in Marion County, Kentucky. He died at 5:20 P.M., Wednesday, May 26, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 68 He is survived by three daughters: Glenda Walston and Norma Shepperson of Lebanon and Paula Walston of Bradfordsville; four grandchildren: Carla Jo Walston and Holly Shepperson of Lebanon, Patrick Walston and Nicholas Walston of Bradfordsville; one brother and two sisters: Denny Smothers of Elizabethtown, Catherine Sandusky of Louisville, and Mabel Wise of Campbellsville; a special friend, Anna Brockman of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Smothers and Donald Smothers.
