Gerald Chappel
Gerald Chappel of Handley Avenue, Campbellsville, son of the late L. C. Chappel and Pernie Stayton Chappel was born in Adair County, Kentucky, December 17, 1935. He died at 6:47 A.M., Thursday, July 8, 2004, in Campbellsville. Age: 68 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Church of God faith. He was a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville where he worked for thirty-six years. He united in marriage to Dorothy Price Dooley August 27, 1993. Besides his wife, Dorothy Chappel of Handley Avenue, Campbellsville, he is survived by two sons and one daughter: Mark Chappel, Jamie Chappel and Lucretia Chappel of Campbellsville; three step-children: Ronnie Dooley, Kay Agee and Gary Dooley of Campbellsville: six grandchildren: Amy Chappel, Kayla Quinn, Alexis Chappel, Jay Chappel, David Chappel and Tyler Quinn of Campbellsville; one great-grandson: Gavin Chappel of Campbellsville; eleven step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; one sister, Orvetta Keeton of Louisville; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.
