Hazel Parrott

Hazel Parrott of Grandview Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late D.C. Abney and Minnie Lee Eades Abney was born October 18, 1927 in Oldham County, Kentucky. She died at 1:30 A.M., Monday, July 19, 2004, in Elizabethtown. Age: 76 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She was retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville where she worked as an inspector for twenty-seven years.She united in marriage to Jesse M. Parrott November 5, 1946. He preceded her in death July 13, 1994. She is survived by four daughters and their spouses: Phyllis and Larry Penick of Greensburg, Vickie and Greg Robertson of Radcliff, Judy and Charles Nalley of Loretto and Paula and Terry Clark of Rineyville; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two sisters: Esther Touchberry of Garden City, South Carolina and Lucille Day of Eminence, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Vernon C. Abney and Christine Whitely.
