Lillian Johnson
Lillian Bale Johnson of Forrest Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Guy M. Bale and Cora Whitlow Bale was born February 28, 1921 in Green County, Kentucky. She died at 1:58 A.M., Wednesday, August 25, 2004 in Elizabethtown. Age: 83 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church.She was a librarian and educator for some forty-three years, thirty-five of which were served in the Campbellsville Independent School System. She united in marriage to Woodrow Johnson March 12, 1939. He preceded her in death May 20, 1969. She is survived by two brothers: Earl Bale of Louisville and Benny W. Bale of Hodgenville; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by one brother, Curtis Bale.MEMORIAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 27, 2004 at Campbellsville Baptist Church by Rev. Skip Alexander BURIAL: Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery.
