JAMES RAIKES
James Raikes of Bradfordsville Road, Mannsville, son of the late Bendock Raikes and Maude Bright Raikes was born July 1, 1952 in Jefferson County, Kentucky. He died at 9:15 P.M., Wednesday, September 1, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 52 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He united in marriage to Sharon Stayton, July 14, 1972. Besides his wife, Sharon Raikes of Mannsville, he is survived by one daughter and one son: Jessica Raikes of Mannsville and Bryan David Raikes and his wife Tiffany of Casey Creek; one granddaughter, Lexi Renee Raikes of Casey Creek; three sisters and two brothers: Peggy Bright, Ivy Roberts, Gayle McNear and Billy Mattingly all of Campbellsville and Jimmy Raikes of Bradfordsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chloe Elaine Raikes.
