Elizabeth Stone

Elizabeth Stone of Old Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Cary U. Ware and Pearl Comer Ware, was born October 14, 1916, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 9:30 PM Thursday, September 16, 2004 in Campbellsville.Age: 87. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Shiloh Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She was a 1937 graduate of Campbellsville High School and a retired employee of Fruit of the Loom. She united in marriage to George Robert Stone October 20, 1939. He preceded her in death June 1, 1982. She is survived by two daughters, Abbie Mings and her husband, James of Campbellsville and Ann Sullivan of Louisville; five grandchildren: Michael Mings and Kevin Mings of Campbellsville, Rhonda Mings Burns of Princeton, Jason Sullivan of Mt. Washington and Ashley Todd Sullivan of Louisville; five great grandchildren: Zachary Drew Mings, Jaycee Mings and Sydney Mings of Campbellsville and Landon Burns and Shane Burns of Princeton; three sisters, Peggy Pyles of Campbellsville, Ruth Bradshaw Shope and Ivy Goff of Elizabethtown; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, James Ware, William Ware and Lennie Ware. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Sunday, September 19th, at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev. R. B. Mayes and Rev.
