Bluford Brooks
Bluford Brooks of Gardner Street, Campbellsville, son of the late Elbert Brooks and Linda Jaggers Brooks was born in Edmonson County, Kentucky February 17, 1930. He died at 7:20 P.M., Wednesday, October 6, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 74 He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country honorably in the United States Army. He is survived by his wife Corrine Brooks of Campbellsville; six daughters and three sons: Vicky Roberts, Delma Hayse, Theresa Campbell, James Brooks, Danny Lawson and Marsha Boyd all of Louisville and Sandra Stubbs, Calvin Lawson and Rhonda Messer all of Campbellsville; twenty-one grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters and four brothers: Mary Williams of Georgetown, Indiana, Millie Falconbury of Attica, Indiana, Lillie Elmore and Truman Brooks of Brownsville, Kentucky, Norman Brooks and Almon Brooks of Louisville and Kenneth Brooks of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. FUNERAL SERVICES:1:00 P.M., Friday, October 8th at the Parrott and Ramsey Funeral home in Campbellsville by Rev. Bill Williams BURIAL: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens with full military honors by the Marion County Veterans Honor Guard PALLBEARERS: Curtis Cox,Gene Falconbury, Billy Followell, Harvey Garrett, Lee Stubbs, Earl Tungate
