James Lynwood Mitchell
James Lynwood Mitchell of Walnut Street, Campbellsville, son of the late Willis Mitchell and Nannie Humphress Mitchell was born October 15, 1927, in Green County, Kentucky. He died at 5:20 P.M., Thursday, October 14, 2004 in Louisville.Age: 76 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Meadowview Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict having served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired employee of Coca Cola Bottling Company of Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Florence Taylor February 3, 1951. Besides his wife, Florence Mitchell of Walnut Street, Campbellsville, he is survived by one brother, John Mitchell and his wife Ann of Louisville and one sister, Rebecca Tanner and her husband Kenneth of Versailles; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
