Charles Nicholas Bear

Charles Nicholas Bear of Grandview Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Guy Bear and Elsie Mai Brown Bear was born August 8, 1933 in Burns, Tennessee. He died at 6:11 P.M., Monday, October 25, 2004 in Louisville. Age: 71He professed faith in Christ and attended the First Church of God.He was a veteran of the United States Army having served his country honorably in Vietnam, Korea, Indochina and Germany. He attained the rank of First Sergeant, was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and received the Purple Heart and many other medals and citations. He united in marriage to Virginia Franklin who preceded him in death in l985. He united in marriage to Willine Sallee Gabehart February 14, 1986.Besides his wife Willine Bear of Grandview Drive, Campbellsville, he is survived by two step-sons: Greg Barnett and his wife Barbara and Doug Barnett and his companion Sandy McFelea of Campbellsville; four step grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; four sisters: Maxine Graham, Ruth Lanier, Joann Love and Gail Beasley of Burns, Tennessee; special neighbors, Breanna Draper, Grant Kinser and Madison Kinser; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by two brothers: Guy Willard Bear and James Lloyd Bear. FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Thursday, October 28, 2004 at Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Bro.
