Elsie A. Underwood of North Central Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Henry Underwood and Susan Arnold Underwood was bornSeptember 1, 1910 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:15 P.M., Sunday, October 24, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 94 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Poplar Grove United Methodist Church.She united in marriage to Bennie Underwood December 23, 1929. He preceded her in death July 12, 1984. She is survived by two daughters and two sons and their spouses: Essie and Junior Vance of Buffalo, Commie and Bobby Caulk of Campbellsville, Heistand and Carolyn Underwood of Louisville and Garland and Polly Underwood of Elizabethtown; fifteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren and thirteen great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Laveda Mardis of Campbellsville and one sister-in-law, Jessie Underwood of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by two sons and two daughters: Jack Underwood, Joe Underwood, Mona Brewer and Lovie Brewer; one great-grandchild, Aaron Brewer; three sisters and two brothers: Ethel Lewis, Sadie Brockman, Ada Underwood, Bradley Underwood and Monroe Underwood. FUNERAL SERVICES: 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 27, 2004 at Poplar Grove United Methodist Church by Rev. Eudell Stilts, Rev. Danny Nelson and Rev.
