Marshall Hovious 78Mr. Marshall Hovious, age 78, of Campbellsville, formerly of Knifley, Kentucky, died on Monday November 8, 2004, at Veterans Hospital in Louisville, Ky.He was the son of the late Benjamin V. and Myrtie Hovious of Adair County, Ky. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Troy Hovious, Buel Hovious, two half brothers, Jack Hovious and Mont Hovious and one half sister Annie Holt and one grandchild, Stephanie Hovious. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of Christie Chapel United Methodist Church, where he served as a song leader and Sunday School superintendent for many year. He is survived by his wife, Maudye A. Feese Hovious, two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Charlotte Hovious of Elkhorn, Phillip and Sharon Hovious of Elkhorn, one daughter and son-in-law, Marsha Ann and Alvin Humphress of Elkhorn, one sister, Gladys Overstreet of Campbellsville, five grandchildren, Monica Hovious, Brandon Hovious, Tyler Hovious, Amy Bardin and her husband Chad, and Amanda Humphress, one great-grandchild, Kylee Bardin.Several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends survive.Funeral services for Mr. Marshall Hovious will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 10, 2004 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Humphress-Hovious Cemetery in Knifley with full military honors by the Marion County DAV.Rev.
