Charles Reesor Pierce of Larkspur Lane, Campbellsville, son of the late Thomas Lewis Pierce and Ada Hash Pierce was born in Taylor County, Kentucky, February 26, 1915. He died at 12:15 P.M., Sunday, December 5, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 89 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Good Hope Baptist Church. He was a retired farmer and carpenter.He united in marriage to Annie Ernestine Paxton, January 6, 1940.Besides his wife, Annie Ernestine Pierce of Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and one son and their spouses: Marilyn and William Terry of Paducah and Randall and Mary Pierce of Louisville; four grandchildren: Amy Jo Pierce of Bowling Green, Gina Eagan and her husband Richard of Charlotte, North Carolina; Vernon O.C. Spurling II of Louisville and Cara Terry of Paducah; two great-grandchildren: Brandon Allen Bell and Lauren Chantelle Bell of Charlotte, North Carolina; one sister, Florine Caulk of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one son, Henry Coleman Pierce, February 5, 1970; three brothers and one sister: Willis Pierce, Buckner Pierce, Omer Pierce and Mattie Walters.
