John M. Rafferty 78John M. Rafferty ,age 78, of Rafferty Road , Campbellsville, died Monday, November 29 , 2004 at the Taylor Regional Hospital after an illness.He was the son of the late Elmer and Ethel Caulk Rafferty of Taylor County.He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by one son John Michael Rafferty, two brothers, Walter Rafferty and Ben Rafferty. He is survived by his wife, Ruby Allene Rafferty , two sons and daughter-in-law, Walter Ray Rafferty, Steve and Carrie Rafferty, two daughters and sons-in-law, Margaret and Billy Benningfield, Kathy and Ricky Rood, eight grandchildren, one step-grandchild, one great grandchild, three step grandchildren, one brother, William Rafferty of Illinois and one sister Nellie Milby of Campbellsville, along with a host of friends.Funeral services for John M. Rafferty will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at the Lyon-DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens.Bro.
