Rev. Chandler Ford
Rev. Chandler Ford of West Lake Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Ray Ford and Betty Campbell Ford was born April 10, 1918 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 10:57 A.M., Friday, December 24, 2004 in Campbellsville. Age: 86 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He served as a Methodist Minister for twenty-five years. He united in marriage to Marie Whitley October 30, 1938. She preceded him in death March 21, 1998. He is survived by his son-in-law, Dr. Jerry Brinley of Centerville, Ohio; three grandchildren: Anh Sharpe and Melinda Brinley Reed of Ohio and Nicole Brinley of Louisville; two great-grandchildren: Rebecca Sharpe and Josh Reed of Ohio; step-mother, Ruth M. Ford of Campbellsville; two step-sisters and one step-brother: Betty Ella Zahler of Campbellsville, Patsy Shippee of Seymour, Indiana, and Tommie Gibson Jr. of North Fort Myers, Florida; many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one son and one daughter: Ronald Gayle Ford February 13, 1958 and Wanda Brinley April 1, 2000; two brothers and one sister: Frederick Campbell Ford August 1, 1961, George Herbert Ford December 9, 1957, and Hilda Rae Ford January 17, 1971.
