Christine Dowell Guy of San Bernardino, California, daughter of the lateR. Garnett Dowell and Mary A. Rucker Dowell was born November 8, 1922in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 8:20 P.M., Sunday, January 2, 2005 in Long Beach, California. Age: 82 She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. She was a retired school teacher.She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Dr. Richard Miller of Long Beach, California; three grandchildren: Thomas Millsap and wife, Wendie of Yorba Linda, California, Amanda Miller and Madalyn Miller of Long Beach, California; two great-grandchildren: Alexandra Millsap and McKenna Millsap of Yorba Linda, California; one sister, Corinne Allen of Campbellsville; one nephew, William Dowell Allen and wife, Evelyn of Chase City, Virginia. GRAVESIDE SERVICES: 10:00 A.M., Thursday, January 6, 2005 at Brookside Cemetery Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
