Dorothy Stapp Dowling of Longview Drive, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Leonard Stapp and Winnie Christine Sapp Martin was bornApril 19, 1927 in Marion County, Kentucky. She died at 5:40 A.M., Tuesday, January 18, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 77 She professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist Faith. She was a Registered Nurse having retired from the Taylor County Health Department after many years of service. She united in marriage to James Robert Dowling July 5, 1958. He preceded her in death December 6, 1999. She is survived by two daughters: Mary Anne Gibson of Kingsport, Tennessee and Rebecca Dowling Eastridge and husband, Michael of Lebanon; one granddaughter, Hillary Anne Gibson of Kingsport, Tennessee; one half-brother, Larry Stapp, one half-sister, Sandy Stohry and one step-sister, Carolyn Collins of Indiana; several nieces and nephews; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Harold Stapp, Charles Stapp and Anne Stapp York; one half-sister, Kathy Marcum.
