MERLIN RAY GABEHART
Merlin Ray Gabehart of Red Fern Road, Campbellsville, son of the late E. L. Gabehart and Lennie Combs Gabehart was born March 18, 1938 in Casey County, Kentucky. He died at 12:40 A.M., Saturday, March 19, 2005, in Campbellsville. Age: 67He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.He retired from the military after having served his country honorably nine years in the United States Marine Corps and eleven years in the United States Air Force. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War.He was well known as an astute helicopter and automobile mechanic.He united in marriage to Joyce Faulkner June 20, 1959. She preceded him in death April 9, 1998.He united in marriage to Linda Rice Wilkerson, March 1, 2003. Besides his wife, Linda Gabehart of Red Fern Road, Campbellsville, he is survived by one daughter and two sons, Teresa Morris and her husband, Gerald, Greg Gabehart and Michael D. Gabehart; two step-daughters and spouses, Tena and Woody Weatherford and Tonya and Tom Haines; one grandson, Christopher Ray Gabehart; five step-grandchildren: J. T. Weatherford and his wife Jessica, Jessica Weatherford, Emily Haines, Elizabeth Haines, and Lauren Haines; all of Campbellsville; three sisters: Hylma Minor of Mannsville, Norma Jeffries of Campbellsville, and Billie Cox of Actworth, Georgia; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.He was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Howard Gabehart, Burl Gabehart, Donald
