Wallace A. Cox
Wallace A. Cox of Hathaway Drive, Campbellsville, son of the late Alvin Cox and Daisy Herron Cox was born April 5, 1929 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 9:10 A.M., Tuesday, April 5, 2005 in Elizabethtown. Age: 76 He professed faith in Christ and attended Farmers Chapel Church of God. He united in marriage to Naomi Wise December 22, 1947.Besides his wife Naomi Wise Cox of Campbellsville, he is survived by five sons and four daughters and their spouses: Rodger Cox, Mitchell and Cindy Cox, Garry and Kay Cox, Ricky and Jenny Cox, Barbara and Greg Gribbins, Cheryl and Randy Sullivan and Connie and Jeff Arnold of Campbellsville, Donnie and Kim Cox of London and Nancy Cox Kenny and her husband Tom of Lexington; twenty-four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Eliza Jane Wood of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one son, Robert Cox, August 22, 2001; two brothers and three sisters: Floyd Cox, Huston Cox, Grace Ann Gaddis, Hettie Miller and Lettie Sluder.
