Joe Humphress
Joe Humphress of Liberty, formerly of Campbellsville, son of the late Thomas Humphress and Susie White Humphress was born November 18, 1924 in Adair County, Kentucky. He died at 1:45 Friday, May 27, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 80 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Cold Springs Primitive Baptist Church. He retired from Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. He united in marriage to Christine Hoosier March 14, 1944. She preceded him in death July 29, 2003. He is survived by two sons and one daughter and their spouses: Benny and Phyllis Humphress and Mike and Linda Humphress of Campbellsville and Sue and Gordon Perkins of Trafalgar, Indiana; six grandchildren: Larry Perkins of Indianapolis Indiana, Tim Perkins of Nineveh, Indiana, Robin Stovall of Bargersville, Indiana, Melinda Miller of Killen, Alabama, Kristen Humphress of Springfield, Kentucky and Ashley Silas of Campbellsville; four great-grandchildren: Tate Stovall of Bargersville Indiana, Timothy Perkins and Lauren Perkins of Nineveh, Indiana and Ben Miller of Killen, Alabama; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.FUNERAL:2:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 31, 2005 at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Elder Roger Price BURIAL: Campbellsville Memorial Gardens PALLBEARERS: Arthur Giles, Wayne Hughes, Rodney Leedy, Tim Perkins, Kenneth Sharp, Doug Stovall
