Robert A. Ayers
Robert A. Ayers of Cheyanne Drive, Campbellsville, formerly of Ohio, son of the late George Ayers and Frances Cope Ayers was born February 22, 1926. He died at 2:40 P.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 79 He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Colerain Presbyterian Church in Colerain, Ohio. He was a retired railroad conductor.He united in marriage to Harriett Rosalie Hinerman November 29, 1955.Besides his wife Rose Ayers of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and one daughter: Robert Ayers of Martins Ferry, Ohio and Pearl Lewis of Campbellsville; three grandchildren: Patrick Ayers of Ohio, Brock Lewis and Clay Robert Lewis of Campbellsville; one brother, Glenn Ayers of Woodsfield, Ohio; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Kenneth Ayers and Jean Lucas. The family chose cremation. Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in charge of arrangements
