Charles England
Charles England of Old Lebanon Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Ira Watson England and Sular Janes England was born January 22, 1934, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 12:30 A.M., Saturday, June 18, 2005, in Campbellsville. Age: 71He professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He served his country honorably in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. He was a retired employee of General Telephone Company.He united in marriage to Louise Richerson July 3, 1954. She preceded him in death September 17, 2004. He is survived by one son and one daughter and son-in-law: Philip England of Campbellsville and Pam and Gary Tinker of Bowling Green; three grandchildren: Beth Tinker, Darren Tinker and Melissa McCay and her husband, Mike; one great- granddaughter, Hailey McCay all of Bowling Green; one brother and two sisters: Herbert England, Fannie Hall and Mary Lollar of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by one sister and four brothers: Avis Bright August 25, 2003, Raymond England December 27, 2004, James England December 18, 1991, Ira England Jr. March 3, 1988, and Treman England in 1924.FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 21st, at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Dr. James E.
