Edith Bright
Edith Bright of Elkhorn, daughter of the late Alexander Phillips and Cora Lee Cave Phillips was born October 17, 1911 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She diedat 12:00 A.M., Thursday, August 25, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 93She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Meadowview Baptist Church.She united in marriage to Samuel A. Bright January 30, 1931. Besides her husband, Samuel A. Bright of Elkhorn, she is survived by three sons and two daughters and spouses: George and Floydene Bright of Brentwood, Tennessee, Charles Bright of Frankfort, Robert and Donna Bright of Elkhorn, Betty and Brent Cox of Campbellsville, and Venita and Michael Clark of Frankfort; fourteen grandchildren: Deborah Elliott, Danny Bright, Robert Bright, Melissa Anderson, Beth Hardeman, Lissa Bright, Leigh Anne Bright, Alexander Brown, Jennifer Everman, Kent Bright, Jason Bright, Erik Bard, Lee Cox and Weldon Brent Cox II; thirty great-grandchildren; one sister-in-law, Mamie Phillips of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie Bright Brown, April, 1976; four brothers: Virgil Phillips, George Phillips, Harold Phillips and Elijah Phillips.FUNERAL SERVICES:2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 27, 2005 at the Parrott Ramsey Funeral Home in Campbellsville by Rev.
