Evelyn Seay
Evelyn Seay of North Hoskins Avenue, Campbellsville, daughter of the late George Smith and Lula Thomas Dudgeon Smith was born January 18, 1925 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 4:00 P.M. Wednesday, September 7, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 80 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She worked at Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for thirty-seven years. She united in marriage to Grover Seay Jr. He preceded her in death February 21, 1972. She is survived by three daughters: Barbara Ann Wilkerson of Magnolia, Mary Lou Graham of Campbellsville and Margie Leigh of Locust Grove, Virginia; six grandchildren: Andrea Parr, Lisa Jackson, Tony Wilkerson, Rondall Beams, Susan Kerr and Tracy Brenner; ten great-grandchildren: Brandon Kerr, Randi Kerr, Laura Kerr, Megan Wilkerson, Jake Jackson, Joshua Jackson, McKayla Wilkerson, Karen Parr, Nicki Lotter and Sam Parr; three step great-grandchildren: Charity Cassidy, Faith Cassidy and Latisha Bailey; one sister, Mildred Holmes of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lori Gallagher, April 8, 1981; two sisters and five brothers: Mary Antel, Mabel Lee, Robert Smith, Joe Smith, Garnett Smith, Hugh (Dude) Smith and Earl Smith.
