Nancy Shields Kovalainen
Nancy Shields Kovalainen of Palestine Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Oscar L. Frye and Addie McFarland Frye was born October 8, 1922 in Fayette County, Kentucky. She died at 12:15 P.M., Monday, September 19, 2005 in Campbellsville. Age: 82 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Campbellsville Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Carl E. Kovalainen July 2, 1975. He preceded her in death August 21, 2005.She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Corinne Shields; one granddaughter, Nancy D. England; four great-grandchildren: Bethany England, Lindsey Barbee, Adam Barbee and Daniel Clark all of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter, Leslie Anne Clark, September 28, 1989. GRAVESIDE SERVICES:11:00 A.M., Thursday, September 22, 2005 at Brookside Cemetery by Bro.
