William Roy WethingtonMr. William Roy Wethington, age 92, of Old Columbia Road, Campbellsville, died Saturday, May 27, 2006 at the Medco Nursing Home after an illness.He was the son of the late John Willie and Ida Williams Wethington. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Otis Wethington and two sisters, Edna Tucker and Helen Cave.He was a charter member of the Woodlawn Christian Church, a World War II veteran, Kentucy Colonel, and a member of the Casey Creek Masonic Lodge. He was a retired businessman.He is survived by his wife, Maurice Walker Wethington of Campbellsville, one daughter and son-in-law, Ouida and Wendell Rivers, of Campbellsville, one grandson, Damon Rivers of Campbellsville and two sisters-in-law, Alice Wethington and Mildred Walker of Campbellsville.Also surviving, are special cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.Funeral services for Mr. William Roy Wethington, will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at the Lyon DeWitt Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Brookside Cemetery.Bros.
