Macel V. Thompson of Attilla Road, Campbellsville, daughter of the late Oscar Salsman and Lizzie Buley Salsman was born January 10, 1932 in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died at 10:40 A.M., Friday, August 4, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 74 She professed faith in Christ and was a member of the Zion Separate Baptist Church. She united in marriage to Fred Thompson December 23, 1948.Besides her husband Fred Thompson of Campbellsville, she is survived by two sons and one daughter and spouses: Rev. Freddy Thompson and wife, Regina of Greensburg, Garrett Thompson of Campbellsville and Dian Bishop Cox and husband, J.R. of Bowling Green; one son-in-law, Charles Clark of Campbellsville; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Elsie Watson and Leora Standard of Illinois; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.She was also preceded in death by one daughter, JoAnn Clark, July 20, 200 one brother and four sisters: Calvin Salsman, Opal Chisholm, Minnie Emma Parker, Marvis Jones and Ada Doris Salsman.
