Jimmy Lee Gilpin
Jimmy Lee Gilpin of Red Fern Road, Campbellsville, son of the late Harry Gilpin and Gladys Faye Sullivan Gilpin was born June 3, 1936 in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 2:45 P.M., Sunday, August 6, 2006 in Campbellsville. Age: 70 He professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith. He was a member of the Kentucky Army National Guard for many years. He was a retired insurance adjustor and farmer. He united in marriage to Bettye Sue Marcum July 1, 1961. Besides his wife Bettye Sue Gilpin of Campbellsville, he is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Perry and Kim Gilpin of Campbellsville; two grandchildren: Justin Tyler Hayes of Campbellsville and Sarah Beth Gilpin of Greensburg; one brother and one sister and spouses: Bobby and Peggy Gilpin and Bettye Faye and L.C. Mann of Campbellsville; several nieces and nephews, many other relatives and friends.
